Ferland is the only one I see making sense to drop Hayes for right now.
I picked him up a while back and he's bore some nice fruit for me while I was previously thin at C. Just swung a deal for Seguin and O'Reilly (a bit pricy) so as you can see in my sig I don't really need Hayes atm. I also was hoping he might get moved/ traded to a second line in say Winnipeg but not hugely important.
Browsing my wire this am the following are available:
D. Kahun - C, LW, RW - I'm liking the new found fire in Chi town
J. Schwartz - C, LW - Ditto on STL, too good of a team to have been down this long
M. Ferland - LW, RW - Gives me some needed PIMs, also might get moved a la deadline/ not sure where
O.Palat/ JT. Miller (LW; C, LW, RW)- Streaky but it would be nice to have a little more Lightning action, Tyler Johnsons' been a great waiver add all year for me.
B. Rust - LW, RW - Pits seems a bit of a mess but heck he's playing with Sid and doing a bangup job of late
J. Donskoi - LW, RW - All around solid no more pp time is a worry
vs
Z. Werenski - D - CLS
vs
C. McElhinney - G - Car
A. Khudobin - G - Dal
C. Delia - G - Chi
J. Korpisalo - G - CLS
Where would you place your money?
Cats: G, A, +-, PIMS, PPP, GWG

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
McElhinney and Schwartz also catch the eye.... thoughts on if Ferland goes? If so where?
I’d just hold Hayes for now and see if he is moved. Another G, A & PPP today.
Fleury and Lehner got blitzed this week hence the desire to add a g.... its not for lack of hayes play...schwartz has been heating too... been watching stl lately and they look really good... the lw/rw of ferland is appealing... maybe patience is the key
I would hold on Hayes for now. I thing hes getting traded for sure while Ferland probably will stay in Carolina.

I added Hayes today because he got dropped!
But the question is,would a trade be good for his fantasyvalue?it really depends on which team!
He is on pp1 and 2nd line in ny!could be worse!
Whew dodged one there .... because i got ehlers in my deal (just went through this am) he goes to the ir... so I snagged McElhinney. Might be a short term add but I think not bad/ a little insurance! Woke up to Kahun and Ferland gone, not surprised, but somehow not feeling too bad about it ... guess ill keep an eye on JT Miller and Jaden Schwartz see where that goes vs Hayes and possible suitors. I too am worried about what a trade could do to his value! What destinations are people hearing?
Hayes + might pick up someone really top notch. I'll go to bat for Schwartz, though, shooting % as his still insanely low (4.2...yes, really). While he doesn't shoot a ton (on pace for 160 or something like that), I would think he's due for some puck luck and the Blues have resurfaced recently, so...
