Question His Pasternark for my Landeskog ??

    Hi Everyone,

Need some help here. I'm currently first in my division and almost a lock to win. Now, the GM that has Pasternak is trying to lock is 1st place in is division and offered him Pasta for my Landeskog.

Usually I would pull the trigger on this but here is the dilemma:
1- Playoff starts in 2.5 week
2- I have Taylor Hall which I have no clue if hes going to play anytime soon.
3- If Pasta is not clear to play by March 4th, not only I loose Landeskog for my 1st week of playoff, I may not have Hall either.
4- Landeskog and his line mates did slow down in the past month. They are due for a hot streak no ?
5- is Pasta an huge upgrade on my keeper?...over Seguin - Panarin (Hall is to injury prone) ? I keep 2 fwd only

Should I risk and hope Pasta is back on time or keep Landeskog ? Is it realistic to think he will come back by March 4th ?

    Thx!
    Head to Head Limited Keepers (keep 2fwd + 1Def + 1goalie)
    12 teams, play:8f,4d,2g,5b
    G (1.5) -A-PPP-SHP - +-(0.5) -W(2) + SO(3)

    F: Barkov - Seguin - Kopitar - Johansen - Keller - Gourde - Drouin - Perron - Atkinson - Gusev - Zucker - Hayes

    D- Karslon - Fowler - Ghost - Nurse

    G- Price - Kumper - Hutton

    High risk, zero upside.

Oh man this is tough. Tough to pass on a stud like Pasta, but you have to. In my experience, when you get a chance to win, you take it. You could get the shiny new toy in Pasta and own him for years, but may never get the chance to win again. Hold and go for it

Here the thing. If he does come back in 2 weeks as mentionned, he will help me win playoffs more the Landeskog. Not a majour upgrade but i do see Pasta > Landeskog. But if he doesnt come back in 2 weeks, i may be screwed.

I think he's out longer. He's being re-evaluation in 2 weeks. The coach also said he expects him back this year (to me that's bad and alot worse than 2 weeks).

    But you never know.

And they certainly won’t rush him back. Boston will need him at 100% for the playoffs. Given your scenario, and as hard as it will be, you have to pass. Go for the championship.
