Wheeler vs Laine
Who's the better own for the next 3 years? I just traded for Wheeler and was contemplating rolling him, as a part of a package deal for Laine/M. Jones. Laine would become my 4th keeper. Considering age and how my keepers are assist heavy, would adding Laine on the wing benefit me in the long run? The magical 4th year is almost upon us.

Do you think Laine's somewhat disappointing 1st half could fetch me Jones/Laine for Wheeler? Wheeler has been a monster this season. Or would I be better off trading Wheeler straight up for a Vas/Andersen type and keeping a goalie as my 4th. Not a fan of keeping goalies, but those two are as close to a sure thing as you can get.

Jones as in Seth Jones? I highly doubt Wheeler could land you Laine + Jones. I wouldn’t use Wheeler as a trade chip for a goalie either. I’m the coming years Laine will be the better own.

I think in a limited keeper, I would stick with Wheeler just because you're essentially going for the chip every year.
