That was a new one. I also heard Gord say that if there was a goal on the first shot, the second one would be converted into a 2 minute powerplay (makes sense but I would forgive them if they screwed that up). That really must have tested the coaches and players knowledge of the rules haha. Even the refs needed a while to sort it out.

Never seen anything like that before; surprised the ref even had the stones to call it. I guess the lesson is...instead of hooking on a breakaway, trip the MOFO or slash his stick in half...

I love the interview with the Russian defender who blames his fellow Oiler prospect D (Bouchard) for making that play.
