I mean if his season is over and it's your league in your sig then you aren't likely keeping him going into next season. Unless you feel you would be keeping him or you feel someone else will want to keep him. If you're in a full keeper and starting goalies are at a premium you pretty much have to keep him and hope for the best. So it depends.

If it costs you nothing to add him this season and you have an empty ir spot then sure. Add him and wait for the team to make an official announcement. I guess you never know, he could come back contrary to what was reported, guys seem to heal faster than ever these days. But I'd be prepared to drop him for a better ir option in a heartbeat.

My feeling is that in a league where he won't be kept his value is next to nothing because the last report on him was that he isn't likely to play again this season. That could change though so his value would fluctuate with the news on him dependent on the type of league you're in.

For this season, he's worth almost nothing. If he's back it'll be very late in the season. He might be a keeper asset to trade at some point if you can get him cheap, but don't screw up your team to get him. Unless you are out of the running. His value will be diminished but he has the contract and AZ will give him every chance to get the job back next year.

He's going to be probably forgotten and redraftable in a 14-team x 7 keeper league.

Also, his value decreases hard in leagues that count "L" (as a negative stat).
All goalies on bad teams hurt in that format.
