Id really try to work ep right out of this equation. Nylander projects pretty mediocre in the short yerms but burns is a MONSTER. Id try to switch the dialogue to mac plus for burns. Maybe add in j vo? If youre talking ep and mac for burns and laine thats a way different equation. I think he would balk at that. I think id do it even with voracek involved...
I agree with Emu - remove EP40 from the offering - Burns for McAvoy and Voracek would be a great move for a win this year.
Also agree that other owner would likely balk at Laine - as EP40 doesn’t have the name value yet but has the skillset (hence why you’re willing to sell low on him).
I don’t think you can get true value for EP40 right now and given his upside and future ceiling, I think you should just hold the asset. EP40 is the kind of player to build your team around in the future
