Trade Pettersson or Scheifele?

I'm trying to figure out if I should trade Pettersson or Scheifele, since I have Matthews at C as well. All 3 centers are only C-eligible and we only start 2 C/week.

From my own research (talking to buddies), Scheifele seems to be the odd man out, even though he currently has the 7th most fantasy points in my league. Pettersson looks amazing, but still has a smaller sample size. He is liked by most teams in my league, so I could probably get a good return.

Should I trade one of these players for a top-end LW or Dman. There is one manager who is rebuilding and loves Pettersson. This manager has Skinner, Klingberg, Gostisbehere and Chabot.

Do you value Pettersson above Scheifele?

Would you trade either of them for any of the players mentioned on the other GM's team?

This could make alot of sense for your team moving forward as Aho may also only be a C in the future.

Id start with Schief for skinner/Klingberg which helps you this season and gives you another no 1 d keeper. If he pushes back with those two for pettersson I'd ask for a draft pick upgrade and probably be fine with it.

I mean you really don't want to be keeping 3 centers in a keep 6 and as is you'd have to.

Schief or Pettersson (whichever you keep)
Klingberg
Krug or Aho

Pretty solid group going forward no matter how you slice it but I don't want all 3 centers if it can be avoided. I'd rather move schiefele gun to my head than pettersson so don't be afraid to shop Schief to other GMs for a LW/D combo.

Both are studs. Shop both and see who brings you back the better haul. I like zac, thoughts.

I'd shop both too. I would prefer to keep Schiefele over Pettersson if i had the choice.
There always seems to be massive hype and excitement around these young bucks that are producing so maybe now is the time to unload Pettersson.

It’s ridiculous, but I’d honestly bet you could get a better return for Pettersson than Scheifele. So that’s who I would trade. But shop and figure that out.
