Kovalchuk, Meier, Keller, Morrissey all dropped! What should I do?
So yesterday Meier was dropped, I'm all ready to use my 1st wavier to claim him. Then today, another manager dropped Kovalchuk, Keller, and Morrissey since they aren't performing... this is a money league, banger league (see sig).
Either way.. now I'm torn on who to pick up with the 1st!
I still think I should drop Polak for Meier with the 1st, and Martinez for one of Keller / Kovalchuk / Morrissey. I highly doubt any of them will past waiver but still worth a shot.
Am I right choosing Meier over these guys?

Keller is great too but I thought Meier will be better given the hits and blocks he sometimes chip in.
Meier will clear waiver a day before the rest of the group. What's the ceiling for Keller & Meier this season?

You basically answered your own question: in a banger league you have to take Meier over Keller. Even if Keller gets you 5 or 10 pts more, you'll still get way more out of Meier given all the additional hits, etc.

ok..i did some player stats comparisons (and saw this was a one year league)
i knew Meier was a better hit/blk guy but did realize the gap starting to widen, as well much to my surprise TM is a better point producer.
so i'll eat the crow and say your selection of TM is a good one..
