Default Waiver D choice - Severson, Shattenkirk, Klefblom or Heiskanen

    Hey all,

I'm looking for opinions on a WW D choice while Klingberg is out. I initially had picked up Heiskanen but I'm thinking that there may be some better options out there.

    League is a 1-year 12 team H2H (weekly roster) with categories - G, A, +/-, PPP, SHP, PIM, SOG, W, SV%, GAA, SO. Start 2C, 2RW, 2LW 4D, 3Util, 2G. My other D are Reilly, Krug, Petry, Heiskanen and Klingberg (IR).

    What do you think of:
-Severson (if he only got PP1)
-Shattenkirk (is he turning the corner, getting more PP?)
-Klefblom (all he ever does is disappoint me)
-Heiskanen (I had thought he was the smart choice, but now reconsidering)
    -Lindell (getting more PP now)
-Leddy (doing nothing with his PP)
-Pulock (expected more out of him and his shot)

Your thoughts are much appreciated! Thanks and will rep.

I'd go Shattenkirk. Looks like he's starting to put together some decent games.

Thanks, The Maritimer. My gut feeling is telling me the same thing, but is Pionk still getting 1PP ahead of him? I haven't been able to see him play. How are he and the Rangers PP looking on the ice?

Anyone else have any thoughts? Thanks.

Pionk has run away with the PP for the last 10 games (just for your info). I'm still wondering if Pionk is the real deal ROS though

I don't know the best option...all those players have pros and cons.

FWIW, the Stars are really relying more on Lindell than Heiskanen while Klingberg is out. Lindell is getting the most minutes and most PP time, so I'd go with him over Heiskanen.

If this were my choice, knowing that this is only until Klingberg returns, I'd probably go with Lindell. It is an extremely small sample size, but he is producing of late and will get you solid peripherals.
