Batherson for Getzlaf
Have a GM that’s in the middle of a rebuild and was planning on offering this deal. What are your thoughts? Is batherson a budding superstar? Looks like he has a top 6 spot tied up.

I can see him being a top six player for years. A "budding superstar", not sure I'd go that far. He will be a pretty good player but a superstar is probably a reach. Who knows??
Personally, I think you could get a bit more for Getzlaf than just Batherson but that's just me.

If you can get Getzlaf for Batherson that's a mighty steal for you.
I think Axe interpreted the deal as though you had Getz. Might want to clarify just to be sure.

If you can get Getzlaf then take it, I don’t think batherson will be anywhere near enough but maybe that owner likes shiny new toys and despises aging veterans. Who knows!

I have batherson he’s just not listed in my prospects. I would be acquiring Getzlaf. No real quirks other than in the goalie stats in which her don’t carry any negative stats. Thanks all

Yeah, EB & Axe have read this backwards... If you can get Getz for Bath 1-1 - do it. Getz is timeless, you've got a couple more years at least of stable production from him. Maybe Bath one day reaches Getz's production level, but take advantage of that hype. (dude will have to be in love of acquiring hot young prospects to make this deal 1-1)

Take Getz to the bank. He's often undervalued and this is a classic case.

Getzlaf > Batherson. Nuff said.
Even if somehow batherson is better long term, theres way more risk in regretting your decision for choosing batherson over getz than there is vice versa.
