Provorov is the safer pick for this year and I think is also a better fit for your format anyways. I'd need to see several months of solid play from Chabot to put him above Provorov just because of their respective track records. Chabot has great upside but I need to see a lot more.

Provorov, by a good margin. He's far more proven, and his situation has room to grow.
Ottawa is exceeding expectations, and Chabot is on PP1 right now. Philly is not exceeding expectations, and Provorov is on PP2. If the Flyers got to a 3F & 2D alignment, or Gostisbehere gets hurt, there's an immediate upgrade path.

Provorov. I like his team, teammates and situation much better.
Chabot is real nice too, but Ottawa is limited. They are starting off ok, but its a marathon.
Provorov will get it going and by seasons he'll outproduce Chabot by a good bit.

Chalk up another Provorov vote simply because he's got the larger sample size. I think Chabot and Ottawa are both playing over their heads at the moment and will come crashing down before long

Chabot should have a decent season without Karlsson Ott need someone to step up.
But Provorov for me as well.
