I would agree with above... but Boeser is at all time low value right now... poor preseason showing and 2games reduced shots looks bad. Stamkos + Boeser + 1st is a good start. But would cost a lot more for me to even consider moving the best keeper player.Originally Posted by mounD

It's a decent starting point but I doubt it's close. Especially with Stamkos and Boeser still 'warming up'. Not great trying to offer guys with some 0s in their stat lines, even if they're obviously great players. It might get a little bit closer if they started putting up some points.

Same as the rest. With the 1st it's a decent offer, but with the league being a keep 12, that will just make it harder to acquire McDavid. I wouldn't move him myself, but no harm in trying.

Too little. There is usually nothing fair about acquiring McDavid so long as the McDavid owner is savvy.

Too little for sure. Pre Stamkos injuries you use to have to pay two top 15 assets to acquire him. For instance I once traded Stamkos for Phil Kessel, James Neal and some other nice young pieces. At the time Phil was coming off of an 80 point campaign with Toronto and Neal was over a PPG with Pitt. Point being it was two top 15 players + for 1 top 5 guy. McDavid isn't just a top 5 guy, he is the #1 guy no questions asked. I imagine you would need two top 10 assets to land him like a Kuch and Stamkos or Mackinnon and Kane or Matthews and Laine etc..

Well, McD isn't playing at the moment... flying home. So he's not putting up 5pt games. I'd start with that, but prepared for either a flat - NO - or a strong counter. The no being to just flat out refusal to move him.

As other have said, it's not a ridiculous offer, but it will not be enought at all to get the best player in the world.
With I were the owner of McDavid, I would think about an offer like: Andersen+Panarin+Boeser. I would probably not accept cause I hate giving the best player in a trade but if I need a good goalie, I should think about it at least...

The mcdavid owner in my league told me last year he wouldnt trade mcdavid even if I paid him real cash...even more than what the 1st place prize is! We are mostly all from Edmonton in the league though so he is essentially untradeable, but I assume in most leagues he would be as well

This summer I had offered Crosby, Stamkos, hellebuck and rejected.
That owner quit the league the day after the draft...no time.
I offered the new owner Crosby, Barzal, and Kane. No dice!
He's pretty well untraceable at this point yes.
