I'm surprised too. You have to think that he eventually takes Perrault's spot on the second line. But he is definitely locked out of pp1 so his upside is already a little limited.
Hi guys,
what do you make of Ehlers` ice time, or lack of? I mean, if he is skating close to 10 minutes per night, he can not be particularly fantasy relevant.

I would stand pat on Ehlers.. He is definitely too talented to consistently play 10 minutes a game!!

He has never been on PP1 in WPG and his floor seems to be 30/30 regardless. If he gets on PP1, look out.
Marner was on the 4th line in TO last year until well into the season. Look at him now. Point is, Ehlers may be frustrating, but trading him now is the WORST decision. Hold Pat.
Last game Ehlers spent 13.3% of Jets ES ice time with Little/Laine...Perrault got 10.5% with them. Neither were on PP1. Ehlers had 14.24 total toi...Perrault 11.51. Each got 2.35 PP. Lets hope Ehlers gets back full time to Little/Laine as if he stays on 3rd line I took him much earlier than I should have.

I'd be patient. But also temper expectations of anything more than line 2 and pp2. 60ish points.

He's playing on the 4th line with Roslovic and Vesalainen. I don't expect that line to last. I think Veselainen gets sent down and Ehlers will find his way to the top 6 eventually. You don't pay a player 6 million a year to play <10 mins a game on the 4th line.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.
Could be a message being sent by the coaching staff because of something unapparent to those not in the know. He's too talented to be stuck there for too long, but also seemingly too important to the team to be left to languish in the bottom six. Plus, worst comes to worst Perreault always gets hurt, so that would solve the problems right there.

If someone offered wild Bill for Ehlers straight up, do you accept? I've been offered that (goal =3, assist =2, +/- counts).
Still think Ehlers floor is way safer than Bill's but Bill gets PP1. Plus I expect Vegas PP2 gets more time this year with Patches and Stasny.
Thoughts?
You mean William Karlsson right?
