What happened to these players?

Dal Colle- I remember drafting this player thinking I struck gold. Now I couldn?t give him away if I wanted to.

Nic Petan- Never was given a chance to hit his potential, and may never get that chance.

Bowey- Couple years ago he was one of the top offensive D prospects. Seems to be dropping lower everyday.

I plan to drop these 3 players. Bowey I?m hesitant on because my defence is pretty weak. Anyone see a reason why I shouldn?t? It?s for my team in sig.

Dal Colle has slowed in his development. kinda stale. I'd drop
Petan is almost more a victim of Wpg drafting pure studs every year and getting surpassed by elite prospects - Roslovic, Connor - next up is Appleton & Vesalainen. likely becoming a tweener - AHL/NHL yo-yo

Bowey - He's made the NHL. Should be a regular this year... his offensive ceiling just isn't near what it was when he came out of the draft. If your D is weak - I'd hold, there's still value to be tapped.

The only one maybe worth keeping is Petan for me just because he never had a real chance to prove his talent. I’d like to see him on a weaker team , so he could show what he can do in the NHL. The 2 others have not a lot of fantasy value...

What happened is certain top prospects don''t pan out, or if they do the end result pales in comparison to initial expectations. This is the norm, more so than the exception.

I'd keep Bowey. He's in Washington, and frankly, has looked decent when I saw him at the NHL level. Admittedly, that's only against the Flyers and sporadic playoff watching. The PP pecking order is Carlson - Orlov then Niskanen/Bowey/Djoos.

I'd expect Petan to get a chance on another team at some point, but he's probably droppable.

Dal Colle is likely just an AHL level guy with depth callups. Then again, the Isles have way too many veterans under contract, due to Snow.

Bowey is still young and climbing. I would be patient with him.

The others are floundering. I still like Petan but he's stuck in the wrong organization; too deep.

Dal Colle is is getting close to the bust label.

I like Bowie actually.. I was never sold on Petan.. I feel the same about Dal Colle as I do about Petan..

I would probably hold Bowey. D take a little longer to develop all of their skills. Orpik is on his last rodeo, and Niskanen's cap hit would be attractive to move in a crunch if need be.

I have Petan above Dal Colle... I think he gets traded this year or next offseason. His agent made that pretty clear that he needs an organization that will play him, despite his faults.

Bowey still has loads of time. Most D take 3-4 years from their draft year before making an impact, at best.

Dal Colle is a never-was. Never really understood the love for him as a prospect. I didn't see it.
