Pre-Draft Rankings/Prep (Skaters and Goalies)

Starting out a new league (in sig.) and I have the 8th and 17th picks lined up.

Im eyeing a few players that may fall to me in those spots, but am not sure how to rank them.
I currently have them as follows:

Mackinnon
Burns
Benn
Seguin
Hall
Wheeler
Marchand
Karlsson
Malkin (too injury prone for my liking)
Tavares
Hedman
Stamkos
Matthews
Laine

The most likely (and ideal) scenario is I get one of: Benn, Burns, or Mackinnon and one of Hall or Wheeler...I just have to decide who


As for Goalies...they are tricky to predict. I?m planning to take the best goalie available in the 3rd/4th/5th round (likely Gibson/Andersen) depending on the skaters available and then take the other one the next round of available. If not, I will wait until rounds 10 or later for the next goalie (likely Raanta or Crawford)

pretty bang on i would move hellebuyck in the first tier also

with the 8th pick I would go after any of
Burns
Benn
Seguin
Hall
Wheeler
(Mackinnon won't be there)

with the 17th pick I would go for another forward most likely. It depends when is your turn what the gut feeling is telling you If Karlsson is there at 17th go for it. So if you have picked 2 forward go for a goalie and a D in your next two rounds, maybe a skilled winger(in every draft some of the top forwards fall because managers are picking D-men and goalies)
I actually like your goalie tiers very much. Mine would be very close to yours.

note: with your roster settings it would be wise to pick one C with your first 5 picks because that position is so deep. For example -if you pick Seguin in the first then go for 2/3 wingers and a goalie or 2 wingers, D-man and a goalie in no particular order.

Got Mackinnon and Seguin at 8 and 17. I didn’t want 2 straight centres, but I ain’t complaining...
