P.K Subban or more rookies?

Hey folks,
So, have our draft this Sunday, and I want to get some opinions.

PK Subban is available in our draft, if I sign him to a 1 year contract he would be 8.9m, I have 13m left available.
Last year he managed 77 pts based on our point structure.


In this years draft, I have 2 1st round picks (11th, 12th) and the 15th pick

So, in no particular order, based on the guys I am looking at, I am guaranteed 3 of these guys. I need D, so hopefully some of them make it to 11th.

I was also, thinking of maybe using the 15th to get GRAUBER as my 3rd goalie, I may need after this year.

Anyhow, I obviously can't afford Subban, and 2 rookies + Grauber (and other 3rd round picks etc)

So, what would you say is better:

1) Subban + 1 rookie
2) No Subban, 2 (not sure which combination) rookies plus Grauber + more money in later rounds

If you Need D badly...I would take Subban and Rookie...

Hope but don't be wishful that McAvoy or Butcher fall your way.

Your D is pretty weak so Subban+rookie seems like a good choice. But if he’s taken, i like your 2nd option too. There’s some very interesting prospects on your list. If you can grab Grubauer for your 3rd goalie spot, that would be a wise move.

Subban is only for 1 year, that is why I was thinking about this at all.
Contemplating whether to drop 8.9m on him, in a year, by looking at my team, I don't know if I am a real contender
