Greenway + Kaut for Kovalchuk and 2019 1st

Hi,

This proposed trade is for the league in my signature. I own the Greenway/Kaut side and want Kovy. What are everyone's thoughts on the deal? I'm a bit hesitant as Greenway could become fantasy gold with my league setup within a few years and looks to have a spot locked up on the Wild. How many good years remaining does Kovy have at age 35?

Your squad looks like it's in position to compete so I'd much prefer to have Kovalchuk over Greenway for the next year or two. I also wonder if the 2019 1st might not be more valuable than Kaut depending on where it lands. I'd be mildly surprised if that trade is accepted.

I think Kovy can give 2-3 years of +- 65 pts in LA and he’s a shooting monster which is good for your cats. It really depends if your in win now mode.Your team looks solid and Kovy would improve immediately your weakest position (LW).You give 2 solid prospects but with Kovy you have a shot for the title I think.You have some solid prospects in your farm... I think you can take that risk

I think the side you want is the better side right now. I'd think you may need to add something to get it done, or more likely, back the first down to a second.

I'd make that trade, then pickup Eriksson Ek. I think he's going to be a way better mulicat player than Greenway, but that's my humble opinion
