Good for Buffalo because it gets the player in camp. His AAV is a bit above the league average. No harm there. Meanwhile Reinhart has A LOT to prove before this contract expires if he wants a long-term deal.

I can't help but think Nylander was waiting for Reinhart to sign... this does nothing to help his cause. I can now see Nylander signing a 2-yr bridge for 6m per.
This is a great signing for Buffalo and a chance for Reinhart to make some cake in 2yrs time if he continues his trajectory from 2nd half last season
