Prospects - I'll Rep
Does Borgstrom really have more upside than Svechnikov, Necas, Zadina, etc? I was surprised to see Zadina is ranked at 15 on Dobber's list.
I already have Barkov off of Florida, and Boeser is my rookie carry-over from last year, but i'll be looking for a new rookie for this season. Svechnikov will probably go 1st overall as he's the sexy name, but since I haven't picked that high in the draft for awhile, I tend to wait to grab a rookie until later on (ie: Boeser was 6th round last year). The top 2-3 rookies tend to go early, and others go later on. So for instance Matthews, Laine and Pool Party went high in our pool in 2016 (Pool Party didn't end up being a good pick), as he hasn't done much to date, so he's still draftable in my league. From 2017, Hischier and Patrick went early, and Hischier is looking like the better of the 2 so far, and then Pettersson and Mittelstadt were picked up in season and stashed in rookie slot basically. Mittelstadt actually ranks 2nd to Pettersson by the looks of it.
Like who are the current NHL players that the guys I named compared more favourably to? I've seen some overlap between Rantanen and Borgstrom, I guess they're good friends and played against each other in Finland at one point, but one is a centre (at the moment) and the other is a winger.

I have Borgstrom this year but I'm not expecting more than 30s from him - not sure what people expect him to do beyond that given 3rd line minutes and probably very little powerplay time?
