I am a Crawford owner. I have a top tier team in a 16 team H2H dynasty and last year could have very likely won if he was healthy.
My question is, should I be look to move him for pennies on the dollar and salvage something? My other goalies are Talbot, Neuvirth and Ullmark (daily start 2 Gs, with min starts/week being 3).
My head says hold, but at the same time I feel like I am tying myself to a sinking ship.

Think about this for a minute. What the hell does this accomplish? All you would be doing is having a knee-jerk reaction that gives your team no chance of moving forward. At least by keeping Crawford you have a potential solid #1 goalie sitting on your team.Originally Posted by Hunter9

I'm very nervous about Crawford's season and/or career. Unless you can dump him on a GM that is woefully misinformed about Crawford's situation you are not going to get much, if anything, back in return. I'd be shopping for another goalie and stick Crawford in my back pocket and hope for the best. I certainly would not want to be running Talbot, Neuvirth and Ullmark in a daily start 2G league if I was hoping to be a contender.

Here's the big key - how good is Chicago even going to be if/when he returns? If I'm a Crawford owner I'm trying to unload - maybe not for pennies on the dollar, but for nickels perhaps.

You have a top tier team, but I'm guessing G is what's holding you back. Unless you package him with a player from a position of strength for an upgrade in net I don't see the point of moving him now. The little return you get most likely won't help your team elsewhere.
