Honestly I don’t see any of these guys becoming fantasy relevant ever so I don’t think it matters much.
Its a deep 16 teams Dynasty league with 25 main roster spots and 28 prospect spots(Less than 100 nhl games, 50 for goalies).
I am always a contender and a two time champion. Normally i use my picks/prospects in trades to make my main roster better.
Stats are :
Skaters
G, A, +/-, PIM, PPP, SHP, FW, SOG,
Goalies
W, Shots Against, GAA, SV%, SHO
I need to cut 2 of these guys:
Antti Soumela C SJS
Blake McLaughlin LW ANH
Dominik Simon LW PIT
Pierre Engvall LW TOR
Lukas Jasek RW VAN
Joe Hicketts D DET
Veini Vehvilainen G CBJ
I am leaning towards McLaughlin and Hicketts, what do you think ?

Hicketts is an easy drop but I'd try to hold on to McLaughlin, although he's a long way from playing in the NHL. But I have a feeling you'd regret dropping him in two years.
Engvall is another guy I'd try to keep. I liked some of the things he did in the SHL last season.
I'd probably drop Veini because goalies take forever and they're very unpredictable. Suomela, Simon and Jasek are all much closer to playing in the NHL (although I'm not betting on any of them becoming fantasy-worthy).
Hicketts was the first name that jumped out to me as well. Not sure about a second name though - sorry.

For me, I'd probably drop Suomela and Vehvilainen if it's two you need to drop.

Not that he'll blow the doors off, but I'd hold on Suomela for now. Something about him in SJ that just works for me.
For me, it's Hicketts and Jasek. Not sure what kind of value Hicketts could have in your setup, and Jasek - despite a solid year - has a LOT of bodies to beat out in Van to become relevant.
McLaughlin and Vehvilainen are worth stashing since they could easily have a strong D+1 year and become an asset you could flip.
Engvall looked great last year and I guess I'm of the mind that the Leafs will be using some young wingers as currency to address their D in the coming season, so we could see him crack the 4th line next year.
D.Simon is worth it just because if he did get a(nother) shot playing with Sid or Geno, and caught fire a bit, he'd immediately have some trade value for you too.
