What kind of numbers do you think he\'ll put up this year? Does he take a lot of face-offs?

He\'s playing the Wing now, so his face off numbers will be limited. He will put up 60+ points for sure, he\'s gonna be a monster

I\'m not sure face-offs are his strong suit just yet, but points-wise I wouldn\'t be surprised to see him put up 60 this year.

    Trade advice:
I have the opportunity to get Sam Gagner and Maxim Afinogenov for Jonathan Cheechoo and Michael Nylander. Good deal?

If you\'re in a position to win, I would not do that deal.

With that being said, I think Gagner is going to be a star. He\'s a winger but is going to be on an exciting young Oilers team. 60+ points this year and over 70 next season most likely.

You have a chance to swap Nylander & Cheechoo for Gagner & Afinogenov. I think I\'d take the chance and grab Gagner in a Keeper or Dynasty league. Things maybe flip in a one year league.

Afinogenov & Cheechoo come about as close as it gets to a wash. Some will prefer Cheechoo because he hangs with Thornton. He\'s somewhat dependent upon that situation. Not too much singing for Afinogenov right now, but he\'s still pretty interesting by my thinking. He hasn\'t been dependent upon others in the same way. You can\'t help but wonder that he wants to resurrect his career. He had a three point game last week, and I read a story about how he was out of favour last week.

Nylander. What\'s the most you can hope for. Two seasons as a third centre? Something like that. He\'s having his career year at age 35? Again I see him as very dependent upon a big star in order to rack up the numbers. Should Backstrom get the plum with Ovy, Nylander could suffer.

Gagner. He started slowly last year and finished with a flurry. He\'s now 19 years old! I don\'t dream of him as a 100 point guy in his prime, but when he winds off a new gear again this year for 70 points, then you\'ll be wondering how high can this kid go. He\'s still in a strong developmental stage that can see him warp to new levels. It\'s not every day you can plug a kid like this onto your roster. He\'s awful nice stuff in the Fantasy world.
