Weird comment, considering there is a short film about him. I wonder how many unprivileged non white people are homeless and don't have camera crews coming to see them?

I think he meant, before and during the downfall.. not after... Like most media attention to things. Preventing trainwrecks gets no attention. Trainwrecks do.
Working with a mental health agency and the lack of funding and attention those services get, it be the truth... the sad truth.

Fair enough. But still, the thought that people didn't care because he was a rich white male it just silly. Sure, maybe people didn't care. But they sure as hell didn't care any less than they do about the countless poor, non-white people that are homeless and suffering.
