What are your thoughts on goal, assists, point projections for these 2?

There was somewhat of a PP battle between these 2, and obviously there is a massive difference between Pittsburgh PP1 and PP2.

    Cheers

If Letang is healthy, IF!!!!!! I can see him getting 50-60..
Schultz, 40 points I would guess..

I've heard that Letang has taken this offseason very seriously and has been wanting to go all beast mode on the season, until he gets hurt I'm guessing..

I'm gonna echo Zorro's post, and just add that Letang has successfully overcome some of the worst injury problems a pro athlete could ever have to deal with by virtue of sheer will and his insane training acumen. He is, quite literally, a beast. I'm betting on him to reach 60 points easily with moderately good health. Schultz needs a long-term Letang injury in order to crack more than 40ish points.

I agree with the aforementioned posts. As long as Letang is healthy, he is PP1. 50-60pts. Schultz is second fiddle PP2, 30-40 point range. I see Schultz as a Letang handcuff, due to injury history. An expensive handcuff at that.

id say he's looking at the same as last year , 50ish pts. with 20ish PPP , I did read an article back in June quoting Rutherford as wanting to reduce Letang's TOI as they feel he is more effective playing less minutes. Whether that happens remains to be seen but as a former Letang owner and current Schultz owner i did notice they had moved Letang to PP2 near the end of last season. That may have been to rest Letang , i'll leave that to your own speculation. Regardless he will still get top minutes.

I would go with Letang simply because his ceiling is significantly better. There are risks with both of these guys.
Letang will get injured and miss time - it's a given.
    Schultz is good, not great.

This scared me too (The PP placement and how Schultz took it over somewhat)

The only way Schultz outdoes Letang is if the latter is injured. Even money.

Thing with Letang is he has had all these random injuries; not consistent ones like a concussion or bad knee. He was healthy last year and I don't think he is any more injury prone (going forward obviously; history says otherwise) than any one else (again, he doesn't have a "bad anything in particular"; just a bunch of random injuries).

Thanks for all the input, much appreciated.
