Start 6 guys every week. 3 O, 2 D and 1G. No substitutions once they are in (before the first game starts on Monday).
Protect 3 players every year in keeper.

I\'m in the sort of the same situation as you, except when I drafted Tavares first overall two years ago, I didn\'t force my league to change the rules. Anybody is eligible for my 24-team keeper league draft.
OK, to the point. I\'m in a position to go for it this year, too, but I\'ve been slowly building a young core of players since joining as an expansion team. Tavares is my best prospect.
A lot of guys would like to get him, but if you trade him, realize that you\'re giving up an asset that will give you 15 years in the NHL and is a potential 50-goal, 100-point forward within three seasons of joining the NHL. To give up that kind of potential, you need to get an excellent player in return that pretty much seals you a victory this year.
If possible, you need to make sure that that player is not too old and can give you a chance to compete/win for more than just one season.
IMO, trading a guy like Tavares is nuts, but hey, Dallas traded Jarome Iginla to get Joe Nieuwendyk and he helped them win a Cup. Do they regret it now?:unsure: They probably didn\'t then, but I\'m sure they do now.

dude... i\'d say hold him. i dont know if ur a lock to win. ur goalies are teir 2, you only have 1 stud d man and no forwardes who should hit 90 points this year... i\'d hold him.

thank you for your advice i really want to keep him and he give me the chance to win for the next years but i think i have one of the good keeper team in my league
my best players are toews , roy and pominville for 80 +pts and vanek , selanne and cammy for 70+pts not a lot of keeper have this kind of offense in our league
