Thats a given. One of the main reasons we are going up is to visit family. I have an uncle who lives in St Catherines and we are spending three days there with him and Niagra Falls is definitely one the list of things to do.Originally Posted by lucafen4

Ya, this would be a must.
Lots to check out in/around Niagara other than the falls too. Go-Karts, Wineries, Ripley's, or just walk the strip.

I think everyone has this covered for the most part, but Vaughn is a shopping / tourist / event area and Richmond Hill is a suburb environment. Thus the hotel prices. Its quite a nice suburb IMO from the handful of times I've been there.
Ripley's --> book your tour time online. No cost and it lets you walk in at that time. When I went there was a huge line so we got out our phones and booked a time 5minutes in the future, and voila!
Hockey Hall of Fame --> Self explanatory, haha. Fun for the whole family!
Wonderland --> It definitely inflates the price, but wow the fast passes are a game-changing experience. I may never go to another amusement park again if I can't afford them. Last time I went (a few years ago) we got a bracelet that let you get food from their venders every 90 min I think it was. One bracelet was enough to feed 2-3 of us if you watch the timer. Fast pass means you are on your own schedule with no lines.

Haven't yet seen mentioned the CN tower (or is it not a thing anymore) and Hockey Hall of Fame (probably on the wife's itinerary already). Set aside at least an hour just to wander around downtown...lots to see.
SOME POOL RULES. Points only (G-1, A-1). One year Hybrid Pool. 3 round draft with balance of roster selected from any undrafted NHLer.. 19F 4 D 2 Rooks SALARIES AND POSITIONS DO NOT MATTER (other than being a F or D). NO Inter-Team Trading, Bench or Minors. Our WAIVER WIRE is ANY player in the NHL who is not Drafted in our league's 3 round draft. Each manager gets 6 ADD/DROPS (TRADES) for the year...any player on roster can be TRADED for any unDrafted F/D/R from ANY NHL team. INJURY RULE "IR". A hurt player can be replaced by another F/D from HIS NHL team and this is NOT considered a trade.. Injured player can be put back on team any time.

If you're just sticking to the Vaughan area, Wonderland and Vaughan Mills (a massive shopping mall - you could literally allocate a day here shopping) are the must visits.
Tourist stuff is best if you head downtown, not sure if any of these interest you but it's what i reccomend families that come visit toronto:

Also hockey hall of fame is nearby, worth a visit if you haven't already.
Also if you get a hotel in Richmond Hill/Vaughan there are GO Train services that you can get a family pass if you want to go downtown. It's the fastest/easiest way to get there since driving/parking downtown is brutal.

I always got a kick out of making the workers at 'Lick's' sing. And the Mandarin was a kick ass Chinese Buffet -- it's been 15 years since I rocked the-6 though
