    Default Another "my last keeper" various positions will REP

    Which 2 of the following should I keep? Plus minus so important it's obscene (we are changing it eventually).

    Goals = 3, Assists = 2, Plus minus = 1/-1, Gwg = 1

    Wins = 3, SO = 5

    Any 9 forwards, 4 D, 2 G. 13 GMs, not head to head. Keep any 7. No cap.

    Last year's point totals and my Options are:

    Wild Bill (129 + 70 + 49 + 6 = 254)
    Ehlers (87+62+14+7 = 170)
    Granlund (63+92+13+2= 170)
    Connor (93+52+8+7=160)
    Letang (27+84-9+1= 103)
    Dubnyk (105+25=130)

    -Letang gets bonus as D are ultra scarce. Here's always if but if healthy should be better.
    -As for Duby,I have Hellebyuck already, but goalies also very scarce.
    -Karlsson such a monster but can he come close to repeating?
    -Ehlers will break out soon; talent will force him into better usage.
    - Connor in a super sweet spot. Can he keep that spot?
    -Granlund very consistent 70ish points.

    My team is a top contender, going for the win again. I'm currently keeping (for sure) kuch, kuzy, klingberg, subban, helleybyuck.

    Any advice would be appreciated!

    Dubnyk would be my choice, then draft a bunch of forwards, and fill out your D with some 30 point guys that will have a decent shot at a good +/-.

    Thanks. Who's your 2nd choice? I need 2 of the above. Cheers

    I keep Karlsson and Dubnyk. He probably gets close to last year (I'm betting on 65-70) which should be good enough to get him a spot since he'll certainly get the opportunities and he should get plenty of favorable deployment.

    Dubnyk, then good luck deciding between the rest, as all have question marks. If it was me, I'd go for the home run in Letang, then cross my fingers about his health.

    Dubnyk and Letang would be my picks too.

    If Karlsson ends up scoring 30g, 30a, +15, 6gwg, he would put up 171 points. I feel like with the other forwards you're putting back, that's more replaceable in the draft. Someone is also much more likely to overdraft Karlsson and leave you a better player.

    Karlsson and Dubnyk for me. I like the goalie combination that provides and feel that while Bill will regress, it wont be as significant as others expect. Just under 70 points and great plus/minus which will bolster his overall value and total.

    Dubnyk and Letang for me as well. In most leagues, I like WKarlsson more, but it seems in yours it'll be much easier to redraft forwards than defensemen. You could redraft a 65-70 point forward much easier than a 45-50 point dman like Letang.

    Dubnyk and Letang if both positions are scarce

    Dubnyk and Karlsson with me. I don't know what scares me more: Letang's health, or the fact that only Carter Rowney had a worse +/- on the Penguins. The dude is a headache for all owners and should be easier to redraft (even if D are more scarce).

    Dubnyk and Karlsson for me. I don't think Karlsson regresses too much. That +49 likely won't happen again, but I expect it to still be pretty darn good.

    Dubnyk & Letang.

    I think you want the goalie combo. Yes, they are fickle, but that should be solid in wins only.

    I want Letang over Karlsson due to positional scarcity for D, plus a ton of regression for Karlsson in your league. That +/- could easily drop 30 or so points. If the shooting percentage drops to a point where he's scoring only 30 goals, which is still a large number, that's a huge hit to the +/- as well.

    Thanks for the input everyone. Will REP once I get to my laptop.

    On a side note, how does everyone feel about Letang vs Schultz? I plan to draft Schultz as my 4th D just in case. Does everyone like Schultz??? Some say he will be the new PP guy on Pit and he did take it over briefly but I think you gotta go Letang over him ..I could trade Letang for Schultz plus picks but to me that's crazy; would love some feedback on that.

    Cheers all
