satan
Keeper league, points only, no positional requirements.
I am in contention for THIS year:
Do I drop either Satan or Turris for O\'sully?
satan
You\'re just racking up the karma from me Mcgoo.

Feel free to join in Emu...
Just ribbin ya McGoo. Yeah that ones pretty straight up. Honestly I see similar production this year but Osullys future is a lot brighter. I do see a nice bounce back for Satan in the two year window of his contract though...
Hmm...contention this year. Satan like Dobber said could hit 70+ points playing with Sid. He could bounce around but would still end up playing with Malkin. Keep in mind if you drop Turris someone is going to pick him up right away. I\'d still stick with Turris on this one though you\'re looking at a 20 pt difference in points probably.

I\'m gonna disagree with everyone and say drop O\'Sullivan.
Dont be stupid, that was a test!
There are 2 trains of thought here. \"Better the devil you know\" and \"Nothing ventured, nothing gained\".
If you believe in the saying Better the devil you know, it means that it is safer to take the guaranteed production than to gamble on unknowns. Satan will definitely score you 60 points. It is possible he will score you 70. 1 out of 20 times, he will get you 75. You have no idea what Turris will do. With this train of thought you take Satan as he is guaranteed to get you a known range of fantasy points.
If you believe in nothing ventured, it means that you believe that it is better to have high risk/ high reward type deal. Why settle for a middle of the road deal, when you can shoot for the moon.
If it were me, I dont think Turris is worth the risk. Can he get you more than 75 points? Possibly, but very, very unlikely. very few rookies come into the league with a bang such as Malkin or AO. It is much more likely that Turris comes into the league with a gentle howshegoin\' and scores about 50 points.
Dont forget that 50 points for a rookie is actually quite good.
I doubt O\'Sullivan will regress. I think he is a lock for 60 points. Satan is also a lock for 60. Turris is a less likely candidate for 60.
In a one year pool its a no brainer. However, since this is a keeper league, I would definitely rather invest some time in Turris than keep Satan. You simply cannot drop Turris. If it comes to it later on and you need more fpts than Turris is scoring, you would likely be able to trade Turris for something better than Satan.
Keep Turris and O\'Sullivan, it is the wise move in a keeper league.
exactly what atomic said...in a keeper keep turris no hesitation!! in a one year , satan will beat turris , specially since jokinen now has the #1 centre job in pho!
but this one is tough!! its a keeper league, but you are in the race for this year...id still keep turris and aborb the 20-30 pts somehow !!!
