This guy wants way too much for Dahlin. He is only one player with 0 NHL experience.

That's the power high-end prospects hold in this league. I'm very wary of making these deals for defenseman though due to how long it takes to get acclimated to the NHL.

The owner messaged me and wants a combination of Arvidsson, Krug, Dvorak, Chabot, McAvoy, Nylander, or Reinhart. I'm not too keen parting with any of those, other than Reinhart.

Good call. Dahlin isn't going to return Erik Karlsson type numbers, at least right away...if ever. Better to stay with the sure things and take your best shot at #3 (and 8)

i agree with others that you dont do this for Panarin alone....heck, if you in wining mode i dont think you do this for Krug alone. He just scored 59 points, it will take Dhalin few years to reach that...

While this is generally true, Dahlin is an anomaly. He's so much better than any defenseman who has come into the league as a prospect, since Potvin or Bourque. Better than Pronger, Lidstrom, Niedermayer, Doughty, Karlsson, Johnson, Larsson, Jones, Ekblad, McAvoy, Provorov, etc. He will score around 42, 44 points in year 1. By year 3, he'll be flirting with 60.
The Breadman+ is too lofty, but I'd explore other options before shutting talks down.

You can have Dahlin and won't feel the loss of Arvidsson, Reinhart, and Chabot. Sure, this might be an over pay but what the hell. The only roster player you are losing is Arvidsson. If you belive the Dahlin hype then go for it!

I'd swap Chabot and pull the trigger. Get'er done. I'll take Dahlin to outpoint Chabot immediately as well... Arvie & Reinhart, while good are commodities that are completely replaceable
