Barkov's health factor is only a factor until its no longer a factor
People still shy away from Barkov just because he had some unfortunate injuries early on, but it doesn't mean he's going to be injury prone his entire career. Forsberg was out injured way longer than Barkov was last season.
Positionally a good LW is valuable though so I understand choosing him over Barkov in this instance. There's also something to be said for buying lower on Barkov before he shakes the Band-Aid boy image and keeps improving.
I prefer Forsberg here
I like Barkov here and think Florida has better linemates to put with him.
I think he's good for 75-85.
I still feel like RyJo has slacker-mode in him waiting to kick in again.
I worry that this will impact Forsberg's scoring.
Forsberg is probably close to maxed out at 75 points - think Tarasenko. Not Barkov, who could be a 90 point guy. He's my choice.

I don't disagree with the masses that Barkov's ceiling is higher. If it was straight points, I'm right there with you choosing Barkov. However, with goals worth more than assists, and FWs cancelling out with FLs, the LW has a lot more value to add in this league setup.
ESPECIALLY in a keep 14 league where Jason already has Eichel, MacK, Scheifele and Getzlaf.

While I like Barkov more, you need the LW way more than a C. Part of me wonders if you can move Forsberg for Barkov and then flip Barkov for a winger that's better than forsberg

I love Barkov, but his stats last season were as high as they were because his TOI was very high. FLA pushed Barkov and Trochek almost as much as a top D pair. Would probably lean Barkov because he isn't slowing down any time soon. He may not keep the ATOI he had last season but he and the younger players improving further make it worth while.

Voted Forsberg but now I'm starting to lean the other way...Barkov may have another level to him.

It's close but I perfer Barkov. I see him as more of a 70+pt guy where I only see Forsberg more in the 65pt range most seasons.

I feel like people tend to value Forsberg as if he's on the cusp of breaking out into an 80 point guy, but personally I doubt he's got the talent to get there. I could see him in the 80s in a career year, but I don't see him as a consistent point-per-game producer.
Barkov, while arguably less durable, has a better chance of hitting that point-per-game mark due to higher raw talent (IMO) and being in a better environment that's conducing to inflating his scoring totals.
I'd go with Bark.
Barkov. I think he has the ability to hit 80+ points but with Forsberg I don't see it.
