I think its too close to call.... it s going to come down to injuries, both great teams. If i had to choose, I would say he has little a lsight edge
I decided to go for it and made some moves costing me some picks and prospects, all that aside how does my team stack up against last year\'s champ? What are my chances of beating him THIS year?

No Wins for goalie cats? Interesting..
I think the only area where he has you beat is on RW... and possibly if Price or Fleury hit a few speedbumps this year.
You\'ve got a great team, by the way.
It looks like the best ways for you to improve is to cash in on Kane to get an older but more productive RW... Gaborik is the one guy I\'d be targeting.
You could use one of your young super-goalies as well.
Just depends how much you want to sacrifice the future.

yeah, we decided that wins was more of a team category, plus we wanted the goalies to be a little less dominant in our league. No Wins for goalie cats? Interesting..
Yeah, you\'re right.. but I think i\'m all traded out..I think the only area where he has you beat is on RW... and possibly if Price or Fleury hit a few speedbumps this year.

i think he has a slight edge on you but not by much, you\'re literally a trade or two away from him I think...thats just my gut talking tho, the teams are both extremely balanced and deep
thanks for the feed back guys.. I\'m hoping I can edge him out in the SHP, FO, and maybe even +/-.
SHP - with Crosby, Nash playing PK now.. plus Vermette
FO - Crosby seems to have worked a bunch on taking faceoffs, winning 15 in each of his first 2 game (last year i\'d expect 10 or so a game).
guess we\'ll see how the season unfolds, maybe i\'ll make a deal before our playoffs.
any other thoughts?

I\'m not sure I\'d go after Gaborik if I was in contention. Gaborik\'s the type of player who can cost you a title because he\'s a big name who everyone values as a 90-point guy, but as we have seen most seasons he gets hurt and doesn\'t come close to that.... Gaborik is the one guy I\'d be targeting.

The way I see it, trades that target under-valued scorers like Henrik and Daniel Sedin who play a full season and will give you 75-85 points every year are the moves you want to make when you\'re going for first place.
Six-Team League (8 keepers; 25-player roster; minimum of 4 defencemen; 1 team/goalies; bottom five players do not count in point totals)
**Crosby, Benn, Backstrom, Kuznetsov, Tarasenko, Gaudreau, Kopitar, Mackinnon

rw you are behind here..kane should get 75-80 pts pominville 80 too selanne is a nice guess (and could get 80-85 pts) but so is zherdev!!iginla and
st louis are both 90 pts player(+ for iginla)
lw i give him the edge again (small but still)!maybe elias can get a great comeback year and win you the lw !!semin healty should get 80 pts
D i personnally prefer his D !! corvo was a nice suprise when he got traded, and SHOULD continue! but kaberle all you want , he is with toronto..Campbell wont be that far from lidstrom this year in pts!redden is still a ?
utl... well this depend on brunnstrom a lot if you ask me!!! but for right now i prefer roy
goalie
gotta go with you goalie...team 1 and 2 in the east!!win dont count and both team are offense minded but depietro wont do nothing with the isl ...
bench i prefer your bench!havlat is a band aid boy but contract year you never know!! sakic is old but i am conviced that he can still get 85 pts!cheechoo 90 pts or 60? who knows!
but it is close!! both team have nice team!

Goalie:Carey Price
He has a slight edge but I think your a coin flip away.
Upgrading Elias seems key to me but be day to day on it; he could have a great year, who knows.
You can hope Dipietro goes down.
great feedback! thanks guys.
