    Default Who to drop

20tm salary keeper league in signature. Deep 30 player minors system.

I need some help of who to drop/trade to clear some room for my upcoming 2018 draft picks. Need to free up maybe 5 spots. Looking at the top 5 "Drops" to make out of this list:

    Sikura,Dylan
    Simon,Dominik
    Guhle,Brendan
    Blais,Sammy
    Leivo,Josh
    Bitten,William
    Geekie,Morgan
    Highmore,Matthew
    Halbgewachs,Jayden
    Rasanen,Aapeli
    Mismash,Grant
    Safin,Ostap
    Shalunov,Maxim
    Lipanov,Alexei
    Yamamoto,Kailer
    Ratcliffe,Isaac
    Lind,Kole
    Lodnia,Ivan
    Nylander,Alexander
    Hayden,John
    Svechnikov,Evgeny
    Walman,Jake
    Allard,Frederic
    Belpedio,Louis
    Graves,Ryan
    Zboril,Jakub
    Saros,Juuse
    Kivlenieks,Matiss
    Primeau,Cayden
    Husso,Ville
    Jarry,Tristan
    Lyon,Alex

Graves is a for sure drop for me. After that I have debates of who to drop. I am leaning Lyon depending on his "home" next year. Then maybe Leivo, depending where he lands.

    Opinions appreciated.

Can you not trade multiple players for an extra pick?

Otherwise you have pretty much my top 3, add Shalunov cause he's at least 2 yrs away if at all and already 25. Then probably Hayden.

I can. But most people do not want to trade. They know that you will eventually have to drop some players and feed off the waiver wire.

I can see the Shalunov slant. But, no time constraints on prospects. I think he makes a bit of an impact if he does come over. I am willing to take the chance and wait. I like Hayden as a cheap source of Hits/PIM. with his new contract of 725k.

Ok, then. Next on my list would be Bitten after that maybe Lipanov.

I feel like you've grown attached to some of these guys and you'll probably make an excuse to probably keep most of them. There's a lot of quality here though and that's a good problem to have.

I'd still try the trade route, maybe sell 2 of your higher tier prospects for a solid nhler or a high pick. It's one thing if you're trying to get something for the guys at the bottom.
