I picked up a bad team and have need at every positions and got no chance to be a contender for the next 2 year at the very least

First one would be dahlin and the second guy picking don?t like prospect and is very high on William karlsson who somehow made is way unclaimed at the last draft and since we don?t use waiver he is available

I would try and squeeze more. Byfuglien should net you more than the 3rd overall prospect pick. At the end of the day though, given your team construction, Svechnikov would be much more valuable to your team than Byfuglien, even straight up.

You can try for more, but I'd be willing to take that, I think.
And the guy picking 2nd is completely not crazy for taking a guy who scored that many goals in the NHL over any prospect.

If you can't compete in the next two years and have holes everywhere, just draft Svech and ignore Big Buff. (Normally I'd ask what your scoring categories are, but in this case, I'm not sure it matters. Buff is only worth more than the 3rd pick if you can trade him for ever better assets. And my hunch is that's unlikely)
