I'd stick with the bird in the hand here. 12th OA in a full-keeper is likely someone you hope to develop into what Eberle stands to produce over the next 3 seasons. Not worth making a deal now that doesn't put you any further ahead, and very likely hurts you in the near term.

Is this for the league in your sig? And if so, daily or weekly starts? (In a weekly starts, I'm not sure how often Eberle makes it in your line up)

Ah, that could definitely change things, depending on settings. What does the league in question look like?

With those settings I'm even more inclined to hold onto Eberls here.

I'd want Eberle, especially if it's a full keeper. Even if you land a 60 point forward in the draft, how many years will it take the kid to get there?

League description is too vague. Which categories are in play? There's multi-cat leagues where offensive players dominate and there's other multi-cat leagues where a guy like Eberle isn't even that useful.

Even with the somewhat vague description, I want Eberle, unless you have to cut a pretty similar player. NHL'er means no bust risk, and producing now.

I'd stick with Eberle unless you're comfortable with your squad without him and you're getting a top 6 pick or so (even top 10 would give you much more value).

Not seeing the value with the 12 overall pick. That is where things get dicy in this draft.

Who would you be keeping in Eberle's stead?

For what it is worth I just moved Eberle for Kerfoot and a 2019 2nd round pick in the WHL cap league myself.

Good luck with your final decision!

One situation I move Eberle is if I have a prospect I need to make room for - say a Keller, Guentzel, Boeser, Larkin - something like that, I'd probably make the move. If you don't need roster space for a high end prospect.. You set yourself back 2-4 years production

I moved Eberle for a 30th pick. He has not really ever been a rosterable winger in my league settings. Scoring 3 fpts / g or a tad below that is just not cutting it in a smaller league. A great bench guy to fill in for injuries, sure. But if you want to compete, you must have at least 8 better wingers than him.

EDIT: But sure I guess he holds more value in a 16-teamer.

You hope the 12th overall pick becomes a Jordan Eberle type player in 3 or 4 years. Chances are pretty good that the pick does not ever become as good as Eberle.

This is an easy decision, keep Eberle.
