World Cup of Soccer 2018 Bracket Challenge/ Leaguesafe

Im running a pool for the word cup.
Cost is 20$ through League safe w league voting on payout process
Host site is FIFA
Format is the bracket challenge where you pick the results of the group stage by how the teams finish then move on through the elimination stage to predict the winner.
40% of the field gets paid out, so if there are 10 people in the pool, top 4 will cash (with 100% of all the entry fees). Ill post the payout before the event begins on the 15thm when we know how many people are in the field.
This is a nice simple format for the casual soccer fan.

I think he means 40% of entrants will make money - but 100% of pot is paid to that 40%

Lucafen is correct.
If 10 people go in, the payout total will be 20$x10= 200$ and the payout will go to 1st to 4th.
I prefer a deeper payout as it keeps more people in the money for longer into the tournament and people are not out of the pool early. Especially for a sport like this where people are fans once every 4 years.
I base the payout grid on a golf payout calculator. Hope this helps,
