The Eagles/Trump mess is just the beginning.
The anthem issue will haunt the league all year, the players won’t cave on this.

Two things - Trump is uniting the players & it's clear from Malcom Jenkins this isn't over.
Second - conspiracy theory time. Trump is intentionally driving a wedge into the NFL issue to sour fans. Why? Because his best friend is Vince McMahon, has it in his RULES you must stand for the anthem. This is all an advanced marketing strategy to make the XFL more palatable & attractive to NFL fans who will then be ready for an alternative & his market share will increase six-fold.
