    The Nashville Predators have announced that forward Ryan Hartman will miss four-to-five months with a labrum tear in his shoulder.

    I would think he wouldn't pass a physical after being traded at the deadline so it had to happen sometime after that.

    Good point. I hadn't thought that it would be that far back. I was more so curious if it was before or after the playoffs started, because he didn't look all that effective in the playoffs.

    You don't really see a TOI that sticks out as low in the regular season for him once he was traded (Feb 24 though he played 4min, but that was 2 days prior to the trade deadline, I can't remember if he was a deadline acquisition, or one that happened a few days before).

    But game 3 of the 1st round he played 9min, about 2min less than normal, but the Preds were down 4-0 in that game at one point.

    I know this hurts next year but how do we feel about Hartman? Does he ever step into a 45-50 point role with solid peripherals?
