Barzal, especially in a points only keeper league.

Barzal in points only with it being all forwards together. I'd really want both though!

I think Point is trending towards that elite territory but for now you have to go with Barzal. Both are just getting started so who knows 2, 3 years from now but Barzal did what not many rookies have done in this era.

12 team H2H Most Cats Wins; Keep 6/winner keeps 7; G A PPP +/- SHP SOG HIT BLK PIM // W SV GAA SV% SHO
    3 C, 3 LW, 3 RW, 6D, 2G, 5 bench

    C - McDavid, Crosby, Tavares
    LW - DeBrincat
    RW - Meier, Miller

Look how far apart they are in these rankings:

    Barzal is a borderline superstar.

I agree that Barzal is the right choice here, but with all due respect to that list, I'd have Point higher on that list and others lower. I wouldnt have Point behind guys like Teravainen, Aho, Guentzel, Arvidsson to name a few but that's just my opinion. I know, that's not the reason for this thread, to debate Dobbers rankings and yes there's a gap between Barzal and Point. I am just sayin.....

To the OP, Barzal is the right choice in a points-only format today.
10 Team, Points Only, Cash League

25 Man Roster (no position), top 20 point getters count at end of month
Keep 20/25 at seasons end, Cut 5 to FA for redrafting
    Goalie points W=2pt L=-1pt SHO=2pt

Stamkos, Tavares, Eichel, Mercer, JRobertson, RThomas, Kucherov, Nugent-Hopkins, Tuch, KConnor, Necas, Point, Konecny, SJarvis, Cozenz, Morrissey, Bouchard, Josi, Novak, Tolvanen, Peterka, Brink

    G- Vasilevskiy, Sorokin, Oettinger

I wouldn't be surprised if Barzal has a little sophomore slump next year. Nothing big (certainly not a cliff), but he really set the bar high in his debut campaign.

    Barzal is a borderline superstar.
With all due respect to that list, that list makes no sense.

Barzal is the safe choice now but I would not be surprised if they are equal as early as next year.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.
