W, GAA, SV%, SHO

We start 2C, 2LW, 2RW, 4D, 1G all per week

Thinking the 2 Def to keep are Subban and Ghost.
That leaves 5 forwards (Kuch, Malkin, Hall are my locks)

What are your thoughts for my 8?

One thing to keep note of: our Monday lineups are locked for the rest of the week and we only start 1 goalie, so I don't think keeping 2 goalies is a good call as one would have to sit on the bench

Would you keep Helle over Price? and who would you then keep as your last player?

Okay... then trade Price... or Hellebuyck. Price you won't get great value... but you might get great value for Hellebuyck. and if you only get to start 1 goalie for the week... I would cash in on his value now. Cause on weeks where you have a goalie that plays more games or where there are back to backs... you will likely start the other guy. So trade him for a stud keeper... and keep Price and draft other goalies.

Then I would keep Ghost instead of a 2nd goalie from my list above.

I keep Helle and it's not close. Wpg will be a top team next year and Mtl will be a top team chasing #1 draft choice.

I know you say you only start 1G and only want to keep one, but I would still keep both goalies. God knows Price is turning into a band-aid boy so I would rather keep two studs for injury replacement at the very least.

I suspect the offers you get in return may answer this question for you. You might find a 3 for 2 deal that nets you a guy you like as an upgrade, maybe even a 2 for 1, but I'd think many teams would be leery of giving a champ a 2 for 1 upgrade. Shop your bubble guys, and see what comes back.

if that 2-1 includes Carey Price to a team lacking a legit top G.. then perhaps he'll find a taker...

The one thing that would make me keep a 2nd goalie is if the majority of other teams in the pool are also keeping a 2nd goalie. If teams value them... then you should too because it means the redraft will be depleted. I would think Price & Patches or Rads would net you a solid upgrade for your 8th keeper

2 or 3 for 1 upgrade is definitely your best option. Make it happen.

Lots of different opinions in regards to who you should trade between Hellebuyck and Price. Price won't fetch you as big a return as Hellebuyck will but there is a reason for that. He plays on an awful MTL team, has been horrible and injured more often than not. Find a manager that is expecting a bounce back from Price and cash in, even if the return is minimal. Something is better than nothing. As for keepers, if it were my team....
