Is anybody else buying into this kid?
Says in his cbs profile he\'s the most NHL ready of that year draft. Pierre Mcguire followed up what Wayne Gretzky said, that he would win the rookie of the year.

Anyone know the line combos? Is he going to start in the top 2 lines?

He\'ll start out on the third line

L1: Mueller, O.Jokinen, Doan
L2: Carcillo, Turris, Boedker
L3: Tikhonov, Hanzal... and I\'m not 100% sure who will line up with them... probably Lisin.

it\'s amazing to witness the depth that will develop (or could develop) with incredible talent to go with it. \'role players\' on the third line that could swap in and out on the 2nd, and 1st even if need be with an O-minded team like the \'yotes is quite the tantalizing dream of fantasy gm\'s everywhere. Too bad they can\'t split the minutes and give EVERYONE enough time to go and do it up - i think he\'ll be a good player this season but not fantasy worthy - and slowly but surely depending on contracts, and trades, and injuries creep up higher and higher on the depth chart in the years to come.

sidenote: IF the coyotes rise to \"that level\" (superstar filled lines of mostly drafted/homegrown youth based talent on verge of winning a cup maybe) in the next 5 years or so, i\'d love to see the impact that makes on the development of junior and youth hockey coaching in the next decade. :blink:
