No it was a 'game-time' decisions last night they said... but I don't think he took warm ups yesterday.

The way his injury looked I don't think he's close to returning. Game-time decision for months!

Oh, the faux "Hart Trophy candidate?"

I bleed O&B but I told anyone who was listening that Giroux did not deserve Hart consideration this year and the wheels would completely fall off his cart in the playoffs, regardless of opponent. But the Pens are just exposing him, and the rest of the Flyers, big-time.

Giroux was nothing more than a compiler this season. Got stats, tons of fan fare, but his game didn't pass the eye test. He captained a team that had a major identity crisis and couldn't help stabilize the hot vs. cold streaks that plagued the Flyers all season. He was also moved to a cozy wing spot so Couturier could handle all the heavy-lifting up the middle. Giroux did what he does best, setup shop along the half-wall on the PP and feathered passes. In the playoffs, you need warriors who get dirty and can legit break a game open, Giroux hasn't been that guy since 2012.

If we're being completely honest, Giroux can't touch MacKinnon, Hall, Kopitar, Malkin, Kucherov, etc. when it comes to legitimate Hart consideration. His points say one thing; his play on the ice said another. As for this series, he's been the biggest disappointment for the Flyers so far, and it's not close. And that includes Simmonds, Elliott, Voracek, etc.

Couturier is planning on taking warmups... I hope he plays.

    Prediction for Game 5-

We finally see a close game in this series and Flyers fight to live another day. 5 -4 Overtime win for Flyers.

I cannot be sure of anything... just like I cannot be sure that Pittsburgh will win or lose to the Capitals next round...

But I can hope that the Flyers put up a fight!! every game they play this year is great experience for the young guys on the team!

For being the ‘best’ player in the league, Crosby needs to learn to stay on his feet. That was weak!

Looks like the Flyers are working on their penalty kill. So far, so good. 5 penalties and no goals against and a shorty. Keep it up. We know its just a matter of time.
