SJ finally broke through and made it to the finals a couple years ago, you never know what happens once you're in.

I've also been saying WSH/Ovie will have playoff success for years and have been burned. But this year is the most wide open it's been in years. If Ovie is going to explode it'll be this year. I will now assume my last place spot as I did last year.

Haha... i know I was just being silly!! you could draft McDavid and Gretzky on the turn... that would be a great combo pick!

Yeah, I said earlier that this will be a VERY interesting draft because there is no clear cut favourite this year. As for strategy, I actually have one in place that I've never used before in a playoff draft. Pretty excited to get my picks in and see how it all pans out.

The best strategy is to not have a strategy for playoff drafts.... my strategies always get messed up! hah

I always seem to pick teams that don't end up going deep in playoffs...but should.

My WHL draft this year.. I went heavy on Kelowna... they were in CHL top 10 rankings... they got swept.

Yeah - getting the teams you pick to go deep to hold up their end of the bargain is the tough bit!! At least the Habs are out so I don't have to battle against my desire to make the homer picks!! That always kills me. Kinda of like selecting Price in the first rd/as a keeper in several leagues doomed me to fantasy mediocrity this year...
