Everyone has shown their strategy to start ...

What if I don't actually have a strategy? Short of looking at list of those drafted and NHL scorers, and going "Hmm, should pick him." That's my strategy.

Saturday I will be away almost the whole day, but will make sure to send lists before I sleep if things are imminent other days.

Right... sorry... I should be more clear...

If you are looking at picking Arizona players (using them for an example as to not name drop) And you see that one of the players at the end of the draft already has a Arizona player, don't ask them to make the picks for you, but rather as someone who has picked players from a different team and hasn't shown interest in Arizona.

I am sure Fighting_Emu is just busy and he will be around sometime to make his pick and I am sure we will get rolling and get things on track to be done in time!

He was in favour of starting early so I am sure he will be back and we will be good to go. Not worried yet... just proactively requesting that managers send a list if they know they will be away for a extended period of time (lets say greater than 3 hours) and obviously not including sleep time! hah

Mine is 8:30 - 1030 ET so if you are not available then... it likely won't make it to me while I am away... but if so... I can still get someone to pick for me!

I understood what you meant. Was just making sure that everyone knows that everyone knows that even though I have (ugh) 2 Penguins, it's not exactly a strategy. Expect me to be allover the place, but I would be safe to send a list to it I don't go until after you pick. I figure lists 3 players deep will help, and be safe enough to not necessarily cause somebody to reconsider things. I admit that I have no idea how these things go -other than people concentrate on teams they think will go deep, it looks like.

I'm in the same boat as stevegamer. I took two players from Washington to start off but I don't plan on using all my early picks on Caps players. Each pick that happens will surely influence who I am going to take as the draft progresses. Kuznetsov wasn't my top choice for my second selection, trust me. lol

We are exactly 1 week until the playoffs start (I am assuming they will start next Wednesday... thats when they usually do!)

7 days.

We have made 21 picks out of total 168 = 12.5%

We need to make 147 picks total before this time next week. That works out to 21 picks a day. So we should be aiming to get through close to two rounds per day.

I am trying to determine a fair amount of time to let Fighting_Emu make their pick before I either a) make a pick for them or b) skip their pick and let them pick when they are back.

I am a people pleaser... so I am having extreme difficulty of this decision.

But PLEASE PLEASE let me know if you are going to be away for an extended time!!
