Take Hickey, I think he has more offensive potential, and is playing on a potent offensive team in LA.

Bogo. He looked sweet in preseason and the Traverse City Tournament. I would say he is more of a sure thing, Hickey is a little more risky.
12 team points only keeper (G = 1, A = 1, W = 2, SO = 2)
Dress 6 forwards, 4 defensemen, 2 goalies, weekly starts
Roster limit - 20 plus 4 prospects
pretty similar talents and upside so you could pretty much flip a coin and I dont think you\'d be disappointed. I think Bogo has more immediate impact potential because he doesn\'t have the competition on the blue line that Hickey does but other than that pretty similar
I really don\'t think Hickey has all that much competition, LA\'s defence is pretts thin. I think it will only be a matter of time before he starts producing this season.
EDIT: Haha my bad, hickey gets cut.

wtf? Harrold, JJ, Doughty, Preissing are all ahead of him on the depth chart and he\'s not exactly a defensive wonder which is what they need most. The Kings have lots of offensive d-men to choose from that are more responsible defensively, I\'m not sure what you see in Hickey that makes you think he\'s going to vault to the #1 pairing and/or PP at 19. Like I said, the Thrashers are a mess, Bogo will get ice time asapI really don\'t think Hickey has all that much competition, LA\'s defence is pretts thin. Mr. Mcgoo is correct, both have good talent, but Bogosian has the more immediate impact. Hickey will be lucky to make the 3rd pairing and possibly 2nd PP unit in LA. He still gives up too much in his defensive zone to think he won\'t stay out of a coaches doghouse. Also, they have Boyle who has also played \"D\" a lot the past few years and he might see some time on the PP as a D using the 4 forward and 1 D lineup that many teams utilize these days.
