Interesting league where you can trade keeper spots.
League playoffs are from March 5-March 25. (3 weeks)
With Simmonds being injured for 2-3 weeks I am wondering if I should move him to a team out of the playoffs for someone that can help me during this years playoffs.
Simmonds + Rakell + 3rd round pick for Marchand + keeper spot (I could keep 9 players instead of 8 next year) + low draft pick.
This means that instead of Simmonds sitting on IR during playoffs I can play Marchand and open up a spot to stream a guy each playoff round with a good off night schedule. And keep an extra guy at the end of the year (I have traded away my first two draft picks.
Thoughts? Giving up too much just because Simmonds is injured?

I'm a 3rd yes. Marchand is the best player by a fair margin and it helps you this season.
