The usual cats.. g/a/+-/pim/sog/ppp/shp/blocks/hits....goalies is w/l/sv%/so

I have dubynk as my 3rd goalie..2 guys fighting for him...I can get crosby in a deal..or ovie...I need the assists and ppp crosby offers..but I feel ovie is such a better asset. Would u give up more for crosby or ovie?

I have to think the team in your sig is incomplete. If Dubynk is your 3rd Goalie, who is your 2nd goalie? If it's either one of Greiss or Pickard your are in big trouble, their numbers are horrific.

If your looking at next year in your format Ovie is a beast, Sid is no slouch, but Ovie contributes big numbers in multiple scoring categories and is the better asset. However, if you are looking to improve your team this year and you need assists a ppp then Sid may in fact be the better option. You need to be clear on what your objective is, what you need to meet that objective, crunch the numbers and then make your choice. Without knowing what these trades for Sid an Ovie actually look like it's hard to determine if they are solid moves for you, however, acquiring either one of these guys is a great move unless you are paying a ridiculous price.
