Getzlaf / 3rd rd pick for Okposo / Rust / 1st rd pick
So I made an interesting deal today.
The GM I made the deal with has been asking what I'd give him for Getzlaf. I've indicated guys like Simmonds, Stepan and Okposo. Today, he texts me to say that he will give me Getz & his 3rd rd pick for Okposo & my 1st Rd pick if I'd also agree to add Rust to my roster (use one of my Add transactions) and trade him too. Was I crazy to do this, or was a guy like Getzlaf too good to pass up?
