What if we start earlier? I'd hate for us to be up against it in March seeing how there is already a few of us unavailable for days at a time. I'd imagine the remaining free agents will sign this week or this weekend since Spring Training officially begins this Friday. Is next Monday February 19 too early for anyone?

I would rather wait. Lots of FA have not signed yet. Spend your time between now and then doing mock drafts. In fact, I usually am the anxious one, but I have just purchased my first mag, and am starting to research now. Your Hockey teams must really be in the dumpster LOL.

R, HR, RBI, SB, Avg, OBP
W, K, ERA, WHIP, SV+HLD

Start the infield plus 4 OF, 1 Util, 2 SP, 2 RP, 3 P.

Positions: All infield, 4 x OF, Util, 2 x SP, 2 x RP, 3 x P, 6 x BN, 3 x DL, 1 x NA

Hitting: R, HR, RBI, SB, Avg, OBP

Pitching: W, K, ERA, WHIP, SV+HLD

Positions: All infield, 4 x OF, Util, 2 x SP, 2 x RP, 3 x P, 6 x BN, 3 x DL, 1 x NA To make it a bit deeper how about one extra OF/IF (for IF, could be MI or CI) and Util (12 starting hitters) and one extra SP and RP (9 starting pitchers)?

Hitting: R, HR, RBI, SB, Avg, OBP Replace OBP with OPS

Pitching: W, K, ERA, WHIP, SV+HLD Ok

I wouldnt mind just doing a standard 5x5 H2H league. I was in one last year with a bunch of guys from work and I really liked it. Five hitting categories and five pitching categories (for those who arent aware of a 5x5 league.

Total Runs Batted In (RBI)
Total SB

Pitching
Total Wins (W)
Total Saves (SV)
Total Strikeouts (SO)

I like the 5x5, but Im a big fan of having Holds in there somewhere. There are just sooooooooooo many RPs that just go to waste if you don't count Holds.

I like 36 I don't like leagues where middle relief pitcher is more valuable than a starter.

I am good with adding positions. If you add IF that is great. You cannot add just 1 MI or CI, it has to be both. You do not want to make one set of infield positions more valuable then the other. If you add just a MI, then the 2nd base and SS free agency pool becomes lower in comparison to 1B 3B.

Hitting: R, HR, RBI, SB, Avg, OBP Replace OBP with OPS OBP and AVG are quite similar and when I drafted last year this was my focus... so I don;t mind changing or eliminating one.

Pitching: W, K, ERA, WHIP, SV+HLD Ok ​Good

True. Might as well get as many players taken as possible.

I like 5 x 5. Avg and OBP are so similar. If you win one, then you win both most likely.

Yup I am good with that as well. Or adding an additional OF and an additional IF. I am good with whatever combination of roster.
