Is there not an option to re-set waivers for another 7 days whenever you want? I know there is in fantrax.

Actually in fantrax you can pick and choose when to start waivers.

Maybe Commish hockeyrobot can message 2014OG directly and get his opinion on the matter. I am also good for a gentlemen's agreement. It'll be nice to see everyone's rosters without having to go the Yahoo site and click on draft results every time you want to know where a certain player landed. I rely heavily on the Yahoo fantasy app and unfortunately you can't see draft results on there until teams are finalized.

Set a date. You can always reverse a transaction if someone breaks the gentlemens agreement.

Was going to edit my last post with this point as well. Rep rewarded! Let's finish this draft and finalize teams so we can look at everyone's rosters easily!

Done and done. I have now clicked BEGIN!!!

I have set Waivers to 1 day for now until I hear from 2014OG. If I don't hear from him today I'll set it to 7 to avoid any issues.

Waiver order is all out of whack for some reason.

Strange. Easy enough to manually change.

To start the draft off my strategy was to get lots of batters than provided coverage and not to grab any 2 category specialists. I wanted to focus on batters because pitchers outside the top 10 are so deep.

Round 1 (4) Charlie Blackmon - I was eying Arenado with this pick… would have loved to fill a position other than OF with my 4th overall pick, but Arenado was gone and Blackmon covers 5 of our 6 batter categories very well! Also considered Goldschmidt here but 1B is so deep as well. Oh and did I mention that Blackmon is in a contract year… we all know what that can mean, and a player that plays 50% games in Coors Field...

Round 2 (17) Mookie Betts – My original game plan was to fill out a middle infield spot or 1B here… my targets before the draft were Rizzo (2B) Seager (SS) or Lindor (SS)… but Betts was still available… I could not pass on him here… 30 homer 30 steal a realistic goal… had to go for him and then hope that one of the three above made it to my next pick.

Round 3 (24) George Springer – With already two amazing OF I looked to see what else was available and I decided I had to take the best batter available at this point and I don’t care that that leaves me with 3 OF only 3 round into the draft. All the ‘must haves’ at the infield positions were gone So I decided I could wait to fill those slots.

Round 4 (37) Carlos Carrasco - Need 1 Ace for my staff… not to concentrated on pitchers… can pluck some out late and be competitive in pitching… but need 1 guy I can rely on… Carrasco was the top of my list and plays on a team that will win a lot.

Round 5 (44) Anthony Rendon – I considered for a minute not taking a pitcher in round 4 and drafting the best 3B available, but I decided to see if he would make it back to me.. and he did! Rendon.. on one of the best offenses in the league, I will take the 85 runs, 90 RBIs and 25 HR with an average over 300 for sure here.

Round 6 (57) Juston Upton - I know I already have 3 outfielders… but there is 1 player left that that has great 100, 100 and 30 talent… I know it is a bit of sacrifice of Aberage… but I have 4 batters that are all 280 or better hitters… I can sacrifice some average for the power and run potential!

Round 7 (64) Elvis Andrus – The best SS available… just so happens to fit my strategy… great average and not a specialist in any specific category. Not huge power numbers but I will take the steals, average and decent run and RBI production. Might regress in homers… but I did not draft him for homers… any he hits Is just a bonus. Oh by the way... he is in a contract year!

Round 8 (77) David Price – My short list of pitchers was starting to vanish quickly… I really wanted to target G. Cole, Keuchel or Quinatna here.. what do these pitchers all have in common… they play on teams that are going to win a lot. SO I look at other pitchers that should win a lot… and I pick Price. I am hoping that Price has a similar comeback year like Verlander did. And Price is a free agent to boot!

Round 9 (84) Sonny Gray – Similar to my previous pick in Price I focused my attention to another pitcher on a team that will win a lot, and a pitcher that has had a big year.. and he is young and just entering his prime.

Round 10 ( 97) Jake Arrieta – Well I know he is not signed… but I was hoping he would sign soon… and I was listening to a podcast before I made this pick and they were expecting him to be signed by the Nationals… so another pitcher that could be playing on a team that wins a lot. I know there is some risk here… but if we were doing this draft with knowing where he was signed… we could see him going n the top 50 players, so to get him at 97 I am happy with the risk.

10 Round Review – After 10 rounds I have 4 Starters that I feel I have good value in and should all be able to get me lots of wins because of the teams that they are on (or potentially on in Arrieta) and I have 4 OF, 1 SS, 1 3B that all have a combination of coverage that I am happy with in a categories league like this.

Round 11 (Matt Carpenter) Round 12 (Cueto) I am to the point where I want to try and balance my attack… I debated between Zimmerman and Carpenter… then I realized that Carpenter had 2B eligibility. So I picked him as my 2B… if he can stay healthy and perform he will provide great value as my 2B… but that’s a big if. And Cueto.. this is another player that I hope over comes injury and a bad season like Verlander and returns to top-notch form.

    Round 13 (Zimmerman) 14 (Lemahieu) 15 (Albies)
It was time to round out my starting batters with the exception of catcher at this point. I had debated Zimmerman for a few round and I know his injury concern would hopefully let him fall…time to pull the trigger on a great bat when he is healthy in a great offense. For the two 2B I drafted… I felt that the several category players were gone… so LeMahie had fallen far enough… he was ranked #70 on my list and I was able to get him in round 14.. Yes he only covers runs and average… but he covers them so well… and I was hoping at this point that he might find a little more power and hit some extra homers and improve on his OPS… if not I still have 95 runs and 300% average. Albies… I have hear comparison to a Lindor-like season… I will take it and hope for a huge breakout!!

    Time to draft pitchers…
    16 – Morrow – Potential closer for the cubs and great peripherals… I don’t need Ks from a closer… I need Saves!!
    17 – Melancon – See above
18 - Morton – A decent pitcher on a team I expect to flirt with 100 wins and decent peripherals…yup!

19 -Yadier Molina Happy with my starting pitchers.. I had one starting position to fill – catcher… nothing flashy here… but safe, on a good lineup that will help him produce and bats for a decent average in comparison to other available catchers. Happy with the value I got here… realizing everyone was waiting on catchers til late.

20 - Anderson – mostly for his peripherals. Not a huge strikeout guy… but at this point you got to decide between the cake and eating it… I decided I had strikeouts from my earlier pitchers and it was time to start focusing on peripherals!

21- Pomeranz – I feel like he fell a few rounds. I debated drafting him in an earlier round… then read he left a game and they hadn’t said how serious the injury was…. I guess this is the benefit of a slow draft… he fell a few rounds and decided his peripherals and hi ability to get wins for the Red Sox was too much to pass up. And another contract year!

22 – Hamels - Another old pitcher than I am hoping to be like Verlander and bounce back… and he was on my championship team last year! Imagine this pitching staff a few years ago… Price, Cueto, Arrieta, Hamels and Gray. Will be happy with anything from Hamels in round 22!

23 - Brantley – If he is healthy he provides great categorial coverage… if he isn’t… then I drop him for someone that breaks out.

24 – Alex Cobb 25 Sean Manea – I left a list with Duster Dave... Cobb, Harvey, Manaea (and some others that i will not mention because they never got drafted) and was able to get two of the top three. Cobb - Imagine if he signs with someone like the Yankees? To much talent here to let him go un-drafted. And Manaea - has proven he can pitch in big leagues... now for a breakout season!
