Talbot for Holtby?

NOT FOR LEAGUE IN SIG BUT WITH THE SAME SETTINGS

I put Talbot on the block, mainly because I am in a playoff position and Talbot isn't doing as well as I had hoped. Manager offered up Holtby for Talbot+, he didn't mention who he has interest in but was open to an offer. What could I add to Talbot to get a return of Holtby?

Defense: Butcher, J Carlson, C. Miller, Muzzin, Petry, Ristolainen, Pelech
Goalies: Talbot, Korpisalo, R. Miller
Minors: Caamano, Chlapik, Dickinson, Gambrell, Glass, Haapala, Lind, Maksimov, Nieves, J Norris, Palmu, Rasanen, Rychel, Toropchenko, Wong, Bear, Crotty, Fantenberg, Olofsson, Walman
Draft Picks: 2018 Round 1, 3, 4, 5

Currently 2nd in division, top 3 teams from each division make the playoffs that coincide with the NHL Playoffs. Again, he hasn't responded as to what he'd exactly want so I am trying to send a starter trade to get the ball rolling if anything.

That's a tough one. I think you'll probably need to add a player and a prospect to really get him to budge. Talbot's older, and is definitely a sell low right now.

I might try offering someone young who's popping this year like Bratt or DeBrincat with Glass thrown in. It's a big hit to your youth, but Holtby is a workhorse on a team that just doesn't seem to ever take much of a step back, even when everyone expects them to; he's definitely worth it to me.

Yeah he definitely will want youth in return, he's currently sitting in dead last of his division so veterans aren't likely on his list. DeBrincat or Bratt might be too big of a hit along with Glass, I was thinking of doing Bertuzzi since he has been playing decently since the call up.

Myself, I'd need the extra piece. Bertuzzi instead of DeBrincat or Bratt would still move the needle for me, as long as Glass is still in the conversation, since I really don't know if you want to move your first rounder, and the third wouldn't be enough.

I'd be willing to do Talbot, a 3rd, a young roster player who is developing, and a guy from your minors for Holtby and a 5th.

You need to figure out who makes the deal work, but I'd be willing to give him something from every category (goalie back in return, pick, farm player, prosepct on roster) to make that happen.

Talbot + Glass + 1st.

It's a deep league so picks aren't as valuable but some managers see a 1st being offered and want to jump on that.
